Shelter Island Book Club
Tuesday, January 14th, 4:30 pm (at the Historical Society)
The Shelter Island Book Club, led by Suzanne Louer, reads works of fiction and nonfiction with an emphasis on well-regarded contemporary fiction.
In 1939, Ansel Luxford leaves his comfortable life to join a secret project in Washington, D.C., focused on economic warfare against Nazi Germany. As he navigates dangerous deals and industry leaders, his wife's new job with the FBI reveals that threats may be closer to home than he thought.
