Friday Night Dialogue: What Can Poetry Accomplish

Shelter Island poet Virginia Walker, co-author of Neuron Mirror (with Michael Walsh) will ask three Long Island poets the question: “What do you want your poetry to accomplish?” This is the fourth in a series of programs in which Walker asks questions of poets. Walker will also answer her own question as she discusses poetry with poets who grew up on Long island, Aaron Griffin, Joan Gail Howlett, and Emily Ragusa O’Reilly.
