VIRTUAL AUTHOR TALK SERIES
October Series
Thanks to the Friends of the Library, we have recently subscribed to the Library Speaker Consortium. Each month we will be providing a series of virtual Author Talks. Books and authors selected will cover a wide range of fiction and non-fiction genres including historical fiction, contemporary fiction, romance, poetry, business, personal growth, social justice, history, art, culture and more! These are live events with interactive Q&A sessions where participants can ask questions directly to the author.

SHELTER ISLAND PUBLIC LIBRARY BUDGET VOTE
Saturday, October 26th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Shelter Island School
You must be registered to vote on Shelter Island prior to completing the application. Second homeowners must be registered as a Shelter Island Voter.
Applications for absentee ballots are available from the District Clerk at the school, weekdays, 9 am to 4pm, or by clicking here. Completed applications can be emailed to:

Completed applications must be received by the clerk 7 days before the vote. Absentee ballots must be mailed or handed in, once the application has been signed and completed.
Final date if mailing in your ballot: Friday, October 18th
Final date if hand-delivering your ballot: Saturday, October 26th, at 1:00 pm
