Public Computers
The Shelter Island Public library provides 7 computers for public use:
- Four are set up with Internet access, office productivity programs and the ability to download and transfer files to portable media including ebooks and audiobooks.
- Two in the children’s area are loaded with children’s games mainly but can access the Internet and office productivity programs.
- One next to the adult computers is designated for searching our online catalog although can also access the Internet or office productivity programs if needed.
Patrons must accept our Computer Use Policy in order to use the computers.
* Note the online catalog can be accessed from any of our public access computers by using the catalog link from our website. Staff members are available to assist in finding items in the catalog.
Wireless Internet Access
The Library provides free wireless Internet on both levels of the library. Connect your wifi device to silibrary (upstairs) or SI Library Down (downstairs). You must first open your browser and “Click to get online” for access.
